The Fawn

Yesterday Caleb and I walked a new trail at the John J. Audubon Center, and while we saw a few beautiful birds and flowers, we saw a fawn that made the hike worth it. I had spotted a few deer, but couldn’t get close enough to take a good picture. Then this fawn came, and almost walked right up to us. It was such a surreal moment, and definitely one that I will remember for a long time.

Sister Day

Today Sophie and I had a Sister Day. We slept in, went out to lunch, bought fruit at this adorable produce stand, and hiked one of our favorite trails in Ithaca. I’m so glad that I was able to spend this day with my sweet sister. 🙂 IMG_7457 IMG_7460 IMG_7464 IMG_7465

Day 7: fears

The thing(s) you’re most afraid of

I’m not a very fearful person, but there are some things that worry me:

1. When I’m driving on the highway, and it’s raining, and big trucks drive next to my tiny car. I always feel like they are going to run me off the road.

2. Locking my keys in my car.

3. My car breaking down on the highway. (This happened to me twice)

4. Eating bugs in my sleep. (This may have happened to me, but I don’t know)

5. Walking in my sleep & locking myself out of the house, and someone I don’t know abducting me. (This also happened to me, minus the abduction part)

All of these are completely rational.

Right?
