Milo’s Box & the Seahawks

Yesterday I shared my last few January pictures from The Bethadilly Challenge, and because I’ve dubbed Sunday as “picture day,” I thought I’d share a few extras that I took this past week. My photo subject was none other than my buddy Milo.

When I received my giveaway package from Parrish Papers & Busy Bot, I almost threw away the box. However, Milo had other plans, and has been laying in it ever since. It doesn’t even lay completely flat on the floor, but he loves it just the same.

Too much? Maybe. He looked so helpless sitting in the box…

Not only is today “picture day,” but it’s also the Super Bowl!

I may be more excited about eating wings than actually watching the game….but when the Seahawks win, Caleb is happy. And when he’s happy, I’m happy.

Sometimes you gotta pretend to like sports for the ones you love. And you gotta root for your husband’s team so you don’t have to move out of the house. 😉

January 26: what inspires me {the world inspires me. there are so many people I need to meet, places I need to explore, and food I need to eat. the idea of traveling is the main thing that motivates me to get up every morning & work hard to graduate in May. my body may be in Pennsylvania, but pieces of my heart have been left in so many places, and continually yearns for new ones}

The Bethadilly Challenge: January 6 – 11

For Christmas, Caleb surprised me with a Canon! I really love taking pictures, and want to learn how to use my new camera well. It’s my very first DSLR, and I have already loved figuring out how to stop shooting in auto-mode. (Milo has been the best test subject)

When I discovered Beth’s blog & her daily photo challenge (#thebethadillychallenge), I knew it was something I wanted to try. Each month there is a daily prompt to follow for inspiration! I started a little late, but decided to do it anyway. Better late than never, right? 🙂

Even though I’ve been sharing my pictures on Instagram & a few other blog posts, I decided that every Sunday I would share the pictures I take for the challenge here as well.
